A mixture of blood and mentalities
The family tree of Vasily Kandinsky is striking in its diversity. In the first half of the XIX century, his great-great-grandfather was known as the famous robber. There is a version that he robbed caravans on the Silk Road. According to other sources, Pyotr Alekseevich, who at that time worked as a Yakut posadnik, robbed several monasteries in 1752.
